About the Project:
The H2MA project, under the Interreg Alpine Space program, aims to coordinate and accelerate the deployment of green hydrogen (H2) infrastructure for transport and mobility in the Alpine region. The project brings together partners from five countries to overcome barriers and collaboratively plan and pilot zero-emission H2 routes.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled university student residing in Germany pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering to assist in the implementation of specific activities within Work Package 2 and Work Package 3 of the H2MA project. The successful candidate will support ITALCAM in the technical aspects of these activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the ITALCAM Project Managers with the technical aspects of the project’s deliverables.
- Support the Project Managers in defining the H2MA planning tool (data collection, scenario creation for specific German territories, etc.).
- Conduct desk research, analysing existing sources of data and information available in reports, articles, databases, and online resources in different languages (English and German) on the Hydrogen Roadmap in Bavaria and Germany.
- Gather policy-related and technical data on the production, distribution, and transportation of green hydrogen, useful for the development of key deliverables.
- Contribute to the setting up and preparation of all WP2 and WP3 deliverables, as detailed in the project proposals and requested by the WP leaders.
- Support external consultants in the preparation of deliverables (if needed).
- Participate in internal meetings, online monthly meetings, bilateral meetings, and transnational project meetings (in person) concerning the project activities and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in the field of Energy. Currently enrolled in a Master’s program.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability with QGIS and handling shapefiles.
- Technical background in hydrogen technology, renewable energy, sustainable mobility solutions.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis and evaluation techniques.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
- Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles and experience in supporting project activities.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with international partners and stakeholders.
