Your Role in Optical Innovation

As a key member of the Optical Architecture group, you will lead the design of advanced optical DWDM communication systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement new software platforms, ensuring high-performance and competitive product designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative product architectures for packet-optical telecommunications based on business requirements and industry standards like ITU and IEEE.
- Translate complex product requirements into detailed system architectural specifications.
- Collaborate with software developers to establish robust architectural frameworks.
- Lead feature teams to build consensus on implementation concepts.
- Investigate new feature requests and assess technical feasibility for future-ready solutions.
- Document product architecture and requirements in clear, concise specifications.
Your Profile
- Extensive experience in specifying and leading architectural designs across multiple disciplines.
- Deep knowledge of Optical Networking Technologies, including ROADM/WSS, OTN, Ethernet, and GMPLS Control Plane.
- Proficiency with data models like YANG, ONF TAPI, OpenROADM, and OpenConfig.
- Proven ability to design link-level control algorithms and optimize end-to-end optical performance.
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for international, cross-functional teamwork.
