What part will you play? - The digital transformation of the electric energy system and the challenges of the energy transition require new thinking and breaking with paradigms. In your new role, you will work on new solutions that our engineering community needs for efficient and high-quality project engineering.
- As a Senior Software Developer you will work on the development of engineering applications for systems that include our SIPROTEC and SICAM products. You will have a leading role in software design and implementation
- Your main task will be to provide technical advice to the development team to achieve solutions that are simple, testable and maintainable. You will also focus on increasing our test automation
- You will create specifications and designs by understanding the customer's problem. You will also define tests and derive approaches to Test automation
- You work in agile, cross-functional teams in an international environment
- You fully contribute your previous experience and cooperate with the product definition team, as well as the developers and other teams
What you need to make real what matters. - You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, energy technology or a comparable degree
- You have several years of professional experience in agile software development in the area of desktop applications
- You have the confidence to take over the technical leadership in teams
- You are proficient in programming in C#, Typescript, HTML5 and have a good understanding of modern, professional software systems
- You have experience with relational databases and are also proficient in schema design
- Working with GIT, package managers (npn, nuget, conan) and Azure DevOps pipelines is no problem for you
- Preferably you can use a test automation framework like Ranorex to automate integration and system tests
- You convince us with your structured, solution- and goal-oriented approach and work methodology
- In addition, you communicate confidently in German and English
