Your Role
We seek tech-enthusiastic students to join us in shaping next-gen healthcare products at ZEISS. As member of our team, you will leverage intelligent robotics, augmented reality, computer vision, computer graphics to tackle open real-world healthcare challenges. During your internship / thesis, you will:
- prototype cutting-edge {optical system, video pipeline, computer graphics, user interface} to build proof-of-principle demonstrators & test your solution with medical doctors
- work closely in a small interdisciplinary team of computer science researchers and application experts
- receive guidance & mentorship through PhD-level experts
- participate in lively student community at ZEISS
Your Profile
- enrolled in a bachelor/master program in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, medical engineering or similar
- basic coding skill in one or more general-purpose languages, e.g., Python, C#, C++, …
- preferably experienced in optics, computer graphics, image/video processing
- thrilled to apply your technology skills for real-world problem solving, 3D-printing
- creative, innovative, motivated, and well-organized
- a good communicator, both in German and English
