Research Associate (m/f/x) 
 (subject to personal qualification employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13 TV-L) 
 starting June 1, 2024. The position comprises 50% of the full-time weekly hours and is limited to 
 12 months within the EU project Atomically Precise Nanoribbons Quantum Platform 
 (ATYPIQUAL). The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act 
 (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG). The position offers the chance to obtain further 
 academic qualification. 
 Tasks: Synthesis and characterization of carbon/graphene rich nanoribbons and networks; 
 organizational tasks within the EU project. 
 Requirements: university degree in chemistry, polymer chemistry, materials sciences, or similar; 
 previous experience in electrochemistry; very good interpersonal and communication skills; in 
 particular, the ability to effectively work in collaborative research efforts; an independent, target- and 
 solution-driven work attitude; inter- and multidisciplinary thinking; strong motivation; fluency in 
 English - written and oral.
