Your tasks:

• You develop digital tools for simulating, designing, and optimizing structural building systems in an interdisciplinary team
• You turn building-planning processes into algorithms
• You develop tools to facilitate the way toward a more sustainable and performative future
• You always keep an eye on the latest developments
• You continue to build up the Generative Design team together with us
• You work independently and contribute your own ideas

• Successfully completed studies in the field of civil engineering / mechanical engineering / natural sciences
• You are an enthusiastic programmer who enjoys applied mathematics, geometry, and structural building systems
• Comfort working in multi-disciplinary teams (i.e., with other analysis fields as well as design and manufacturing engineerig)
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Basic knowledge of optimization methods and optimization strategies
• Experience and interest in AEC software (Architecture, Engineering & Construction)
• High level of proficiency in at least one commercial Finite Element Analysis tool dedicated to structural analysis (Experience with the Dlubal API or similar technologies would be a plus)
• Ability to apply engineering principles and practices to solve engineering problems as part of a team

The gross annual salary for this position in Austria is starting from EUR 50,000. In addition, we offer an overpayment in line with the market depending on qualifications and experience.
