Your role at ZEISS Digital Partners

As Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you play a crucial role in strengthening our Online Design System team at ZEISS Digital Partners and actively contribute to the success of the digital transformation at ZEISS. You will take responsibility for the development of our design system Beyond for Online Experiences which includes not only the design specifications but also UI component libraries following the standards of the design system.

Your profile

• It’s advised to possess at least 5 years of practical experience working with Angular, React and Typescript
• Component documentation using Storybook
• Testing is part of your development routine. We perform unit testing with Jest, @testing-library and TestBed Visual testing is done using Chromatic
• You have experience with build tools such as webpack, rollup etc.
• Experience with developing and maintaining pipelines is nice to have
• Colleagues love working with you, because of your ability to communicate your arguments clearly
• Progression is important to you, that’s why you are not only criticizing, but also think and act solution-oriented
• You ideally have already worked on component libraries or understand the specific requirements of doing so
• Mentoring other Software Engineers feels rewarding for you
