Consumer Insights Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Consumer Insights Manager (m/f/d) as of now to strengthen our Marketing Department in Cologne.

We are searching for a motivated and experienced Consumer Insights Manager (m/f/d) who has a passion for understanding consumer behavior, whose mission is to understand consumers better than anyone else, to understand their needs and attitudes in depth, and to translate these insights into strategic actions that drive our success.

This position operates within the Business Portfolio Team in the Marketing Department and is limited in time due to parental leave replacement for 1.5 years. Ideal starting date is December 2023.

Your tasks – exciting and diverse:

• You will work closely with the various brand and marketing teams to identify insight needs and adapt them into research / insight projects
• You will manage the entire process of consumer research projects from definition, vendor selection to presentation of insights. This can include all types of qualitative and quantitative studies as well continuous tracking studies
• Data analysis – using your analytical skills, you will examine the information generated, uncover meaningful patterns, and derive actionable insights from it
• As a good storyteller, you will communicate the insights and learnings gained to various stakeholders, ensuring high level of impact and relevance
• Infuse a consumer-centric mindset throughout the organization by ensuring a continuous flow of consumer insights and viewpoints, with specific focus on marketing and sales departments
• Ignite discussions on JTI Germany's product portfolio and brand strategy and support the future vision by making recommendations based on current consumer trends

Your profile:

• Degree in marketing, psychology, market research or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
• Already gained experience in market research or insight manager related position(s)
• Safe navigation between different research approaches and methods
• Exceptional analytical thinking, passion to find and connect the dots
• Talented project manager, with high demands of your own work quality and output
• Good interpersonal skills, open-minded, quick learner
• Good presentation skills, ability to inspire audiences
• Desire to contribute your own ideas
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, but also in Excel. Any other tool knowledge related to data analytics or insight / data visualization is a plus
• Fluent in English and German, written and spoken
