As an Offer and Proposal Engineer (f/m/d) you are part of a specialized team in an exciting niche business within Siemens. You will prepare technical and commercial offers and proposals for specialty equipment customized for our global customers (e.g., EPCs or utilities).
What part will you play?
- You will analyze technical customer specifications and requirements and identify customer needs.
- You will configure individual generator and high-current, medium-voltage switchgears applications and prepare technical and commercial offer details.
- You will provide clarification and consultation to vendors and other stakeholders during the offer process.
- You will define interdisciplinary interfaces and schedules and communicate them with sales, customers, production, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
What you need to make real what matters.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a similar discipline.
- Ideally you have several years of related professional experience in medium- and or low-voltage equipment and application (e.g. switchgear, transformers, generators).
- You have an interest in the commercial aspects of industrial engineering.
- Your experience includes cross-cultural knowledge from working with global teams.
- You have a business-fluent command of spoken and written English (German is desirable).
