We are tackling the massive infrastructure challenges of the 21st century by building a decentralized, renewable power grid. Our mission involves the rapid deployment of smart meters and control systems at an unprecedented scale. Joining our newly formed engineering team in Berlin, you will report directly to the CTO and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy data management and grid operations.

Your Impact and Responsibilities

In this role, you take full end-to-end ownership of our core product systems. You will design robust backend services and create seamless frontend experiences while collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Key tasks include building fullstack architectures, integrating external platforms like CRM and WFM, and developing automation scripts for device-driven operations. You will also champion code quality through unit testing and peer reviews, optimize service performance, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of technical excellence.

Your Profile

We are looking for a tech-agnostic expert with a strong background in building distributed, high-availability backend systems. You should be proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or C#, and have a solid grasp of RESTful API design and database management (SQL/NoSQL). Experience with Docker, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD pipelines is highly valued. You are a clear communicator in English, thrive in agile environments, and possess the drive to turn ambiguous problems into scalable, production-ready solutions.
