Your Role as Business Development Manager
In this strategic role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the EMEA region. You will leverage your deep technical expertise in imaging and assemblies to engage with key accounts and develop high-growth application strategies. By bridging the gap between customer needs and our manufacturing capabilities, you will drive the success of complex optical projects from the initial concept to production.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and develop strategic growth opportunities in the EMEA imaging and photonics markets.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with industry stakeholders and key customers.
- Lead strategic projects through feasibility studies, prototyping, and production ramp-up.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to guide data-driven decision-making.
- Provide technical and commercial support to sales teams and deliver high-impact presentations.
Your Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree (MSc or PhD) in Optics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in technical sales or business development within high-tech industries.
- Deep understanding of precision optical assemblies and industrial imaging applications.
- Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and closing strategic deals.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
- Willingness to travel within the EMEA region to support business expansion.
