Join Zalando Studios as a Creative Strategist and play a key role in creating compelling fashion narratives for the digital age. Zalando Studios seeks a Creative Strategist with a robust background in editorial fashion and creative campaign strategy to enhance our Statement and Editorial teams. This role focuses on leveraging your deep understanding of the culture that surrounds fashion and insights from both market trends and consumer behaviour to craft insight-driven platforms for creative teams to ideate from.
Together with the Statement, editorial and brand campaigns teams you will create outstanding fashion campaigns - spanning video, stills, activations, events and beyond - that not only engage audiences, but also cut through the noise. You will work alongside art directors and copywriters/editors to develop compelling visual stories content that not only aligns with Zalando's brand but also set trends in the fashion industry.
Join project kick-offs and dive into client* briefs (*ranging from designer, premium fashion, streetwear, sports to beauty)
Clearly define problems, break down objectives, and transform them into inspiring creative briefs.
Conduct thorough research using various sources to uncover valuable insights.
Craft engaging creative springboards and strategies for editorial shoots and campaigns that inspire and attract the fashion-forward segment of customers, enhancing the Zalando experience.
Present your creative strategy clearly and professionally using compelling decks/cohesive slides to generate excitement.
Attend and participate in brainstorming/ideation sessions with creative teams and strategic roundtables, injecting fresh cultural insights and strategic viewpoints.
Monitor and analyse the performance of editorial content, providing insights and recommendations to continuously refine and elevate our storytelling approach.
Inspire colleagues beyond the creative team by summarising trend reports and sharing analyses of cultural moments in fashion, beauty, lifestyle.
You have a degree in Journalism, Fashion, Marketing, Communications, or a similar field,
At least 2 years in a mid-level strategic role within a fashion magazine, creative agency, or brand environment.
A track record of developing creative strategies/springboards that engages and inspires a style-conscious audience. For this, we would love to see your portfolio of work.
Interest in and familiarity with AI tools and techniques to enhance the creativity and relevance of creative concepts is desired.
Strategic thinker with a creative vision, deep understanding of the latest fashion trends, cultural movements, and industry dynamics, who is capable of interpreting fashion and cultural insights into compelling creative strategies.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
