We are embarking on an exciting journey that helps our customers in their digital transformation of Pricing. As part of the department IT Sales, you will enable our own Siemens Sales to outperform competitors by managing operations of software solutions on state-of-the-art low code platforms and providing IT consulting for using applications that help make data driven pricing decisions.
The Senior IT Professional shall act as a technical team lead to manage the DIOS service operations. This role shall be responsible to implement and monitor the DIOS platform infrastructure as well as lead the service delivery team in Germany. Working together with the Service Manager, the IT Professional would also be responsible to manage the operational budget and interface with stakeholders and suppliers as necessaary in delivery of DIOS Pricing service globally. Knowledge of C SHARP/Java and ITIL processes is desirable.
What part will you play? - Being part of the Global IT organization in the IT value center Digital Sales
- Reporting to IT S CPQ Service Group Head in the role of operations team lead and Subject Matter Expert for DIOS Pricing Application
- Being responsible for supporting the respective business Product Owners by managing the support operations and executing the development to meet the required functionality and quality standards, as well as within specified time and budget, whereby ensuring business value, sales efficiency, and user satisfaction
- Working with Service Managers to closely engage with DI and SI Sales HQ, BU and Regions Stakeholders and to ensure DIOS Service excellence. You will play a key role in executing operational processes in the delivery of the service
- Monitoring the overall DIOS service module status in terms of operational quality including budget and communicate to the relevant stakeholders
- As a technology expert, you will help to design new digital capabilities around pricing processes and driving its implementation into scalable IT- solutions
- Contributing to the improvement of the setup and operational processes of IT S CPQ services
- Taking responsibility for the respective services in the role of a Operations manager whereby ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs as well as team efficiency & satisfaction
What you need to make real what matters: - University degree in Engineering, Economics or IT from reputable university or college
- Long term experience in Software development environment with a particular knowledge on CPQ and pricing domain processes
- Expert knowledge in Java/C SHARP is highly desirable
- Experience with Low Code Platform Flowfactory is a big plus
- Experience in running IT infrastructure operations and development projects in an agile approach and ITIL framework
- Excellent network with the relevant parts of the Siemens organization
- Proximity to DI/SI Sales HQ stakeholders is key success factor
- A real growth mindset with high intercultural affinity combined with excellent communication skills
- High proficiency in German and English
