The Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Medicine MEVIS is a world-leading and internationally connected research center for computer assistance in medicine. With about 140 employees, our mission is to conduct patient-centric research and development to improve clinical processes for the benefit of our clinical partners and, in the end, patients.
Our work mostly takes place in small R&D teams that use various agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban.
What you will do
You will work as an Agile Coach in a cross-project role to promote an agile mindset and agile forms of collaboration, support agile processes at different levels and thus drive the agile transformation of our institute.
In addition, you will also apply and enhance your skills as a Scrum Master or Agile Facilitator by working with project teams and institution-wide initiatives. This includes facilitating e.g., project kick-off meetings or retrospectives and contributing to strategy processes and communities of practice.
What you bring to the table
- Proven experience as an Agile Coach and/or Scrum Master.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for creating and maintaining a great work environment.
- Good German and English language skills
- Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, sciences, psychology or management.
- Software development background, experience in project management or familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.

The position is initially limited to 2 years.
The weekly working time is 39 hours. The position can also be filled on a part-time basis.
