Due to increasing growth opportunities, Molex has identified the need for a Customer Quality Engineer to join the European organization in Ettlingen (Germany). As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for building relationship with our European based customers, focused on quality specification, evaluation and audits and act as the voice of the customer within our organization. We want to create professional and long-term partnerships that create high value for our customers, to be recognized as preferred partner of choice for future technology.

What You Will Do

• Establish and develop a strong relationship with our customers within the EMEA region as a first point of contact for all quality matters and to improve customer satisfaction
• Review and ensure that our customer requirements are met by using various quality tools and manage customer quality claims
• Perform analysis of components rejected by customers, drive initiatives of improvement with our global manufacturing plants and communicate action plans to customers and obtain alerts/claim closure
• Manage and obtain cancellation approval from customers as well as non-conformance announcements to customers in cooperation with local Quality Engineers
• Perform and support process audits at Molex Plants if neededWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)

The Experience You Will Bring

• Multiple years of experience as a Quality Engineer (or similar role) in a production environment
• Strong experience with quality related problem-solving tools (8D, 5WHY, Ishikawa, etc....)
• Good sense of urgency, pragmatism, curiosity, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability and interest to work in an international context (Asia, US, Europe, North Africa)
• Very good language skills in English
• Willingness to travel within Europe, America, Asia and North Africa up to 15%

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in a production environment within the electro-mechanic industry (especially with connectors)
• Experience and knowledge of SAP
• Fluent in other European language
