We are looking for a Development Engineer (m/f/d) for the Arm Packages area within the Products & Systems department. The objective of the position is to identify, initiate, organize, implement and document technological and process-related development topics as well as the responsible development of support structures including connected peripherals for all Putzmeister Markt-Technik fields as well as their support and maintenance.

Your task

• Expansion of the basic development and the state of the art for all Putzmeister market technology fields
• Strategic, technological and economic development of support structures including connected periphery in coordination with production and product management for worldwide applications
• Support and maintenance of existing products as well as application of relevant regulations and guidelines
• Checking of designs for compliance with all requirements and specifications as well as modification if necessary
• Continuous knowledge transfer within the technical department

Your profile

• Completed engineering studies in the field of mechanical engineering or comparable discipline
• Preferably with several years of professional experience in plant or mechanical engineering
• In-depth knowledge of technical mechanics
• Experience in welded construction and fine-grained structural steels as well as FE knowledge are desirable
• Experience in using CAD and FE software (preferably Siemens NX) as well as SAP
• Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• Structured approach to finding solutions
• Far-sightedness and team spirit
