Laser Service Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Point of contact for technical questions from customers at leading research institutes & high-tech companies
• Identify and implement solutions ranging from email/phone troubleshooting to onsite visits
• Install and commission complex systems
• Perform repair work at local lab in Boulder or at customer side
• Work closely with engineering, production, product management and sales locally as well as at our headquarter in Munich
• Support internal development projects
• Attend global product and service trainings

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Physics or Photonics
• Prior hands-on experience with fiber optics, vacuum systems, laser locking & stabilization or Optical Frequency Combs highly advantageous
• Estimated 50% travel
